Get to know me

I have over 20 years working with children, young people and families in a variety of roles within Education and Residential Care. Having been trained as a Learning Mentor I worked as a Learning Mentor, Key Stage Leader, Lead Progress Leader and Pastoral Manager at challenging schools in Walsall and Birmingham for over 16 Years and always found a way to connect with all the children and young people that I came in contact with. Within those roles I have always championed their causes, always believing that they are a product of their environments and in that their behaviour is a product of their life experiences good and not so good. My working life has enabled me to acquire key skills in Mentoring, Coaching and Counselling and I will always endeavour to continue to use these skills to support children, young people and families in a more proactive way.
