Welcome to FNB Mentoring and Coaching!
We’re happy to have you here and we can’t wait to tell you all about what we do and why we love it. At FNB Mentoring and Coaching, we’re all about helping children and young people to achieve thier goals and unlock their full potential in a fun, relaxed and fully personalised way. Working in Walsall, the West Midlands and across the UK, our support takes many forms including 1:1 Mentoring, Group Work, Coaching and Counselling, delivered by our dedicated team with over 80 years of experience. You could say we know what we’re talking about!
First things first, who are we? Well, we’re a team of enthusiastic mentors and coaches who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children, young people, LAC and their families. We believe that personal and professional growth should never be a dull or rigid process. Instead, we’re all about infusing some excitement and laughter into the journey towards success.
Think of us as trusty sidekicks, who are here to guide you and motivate. We help children and young people to navigate the twists and turns of life and overcome a range of behavioural, environmental, social, or economic barriers. We’re all about celebrating victories, embracing failures as learning opportunities and enjoying the journey towards self-improvement.
FNB has taken the time to consider how best we can deliver our sessions and has taken the time to adapt to how the world has changed post Covid which means that we offer sessions in person or digitally. We like to keep things casual, like having a friendly chat over a cup of coffee (or tea, if that’s your thing).
Our approach is all about tailoring our methods to suit unique personalities and needs. We’re not here to impose a one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, we’ll work together to uncover strengths, identify goals and craft a personalised roadmap to grow and succeed. We listen without judgement. And we promise to throw in some good vibes along the way!

*We have all completed Child Sexual Exploitation, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Awareness Training, Data Protection & GDPR Awareness and Safeguarding Children Level 1 & 2 Advanced training.
FNB (Forwards Not Backwards) Mentoring and Coaching is a Community Interest Company set up to support children, young people and families to achieve their potential whatever they may be by using their skills to inspire by listening without judgement and offering appropriate advice and advice that will empower them to be the best version of themselves.
Our support can take many forms including 1-on-1 Mentoring, Group Work, Coaching or Counselling which will be delivered by our dedicated team members who have over 80 years of experience between them working with children, young people and families. At FNB we are committed to supporting children and young people, LAC, families and communities to overcome behavioural, environmental, social, or economic barriers that may exist and are restricting them from realising and fulfilling their full potential. We will work in the communities across Walsall, the West Midlands and UK to address issues the community have identified and empower individuals and groups to find the solution within themselves through a mixture of Mentoring and Coaching support.
